Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships based on progress in achieving client’s marketing objectives, while maintaining profitability for the agency.

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an Account Coordinator, or comparable, role.

An effective Account Executive is responsible for:

  • assuming overall ownership of assigned accounts and process
  • the day-to-day execution of programs and projects keeping them on strategy, on time and within budget
  • writing thoughtful, insight-based briefs
  • managing delivery of assets to media vendors
  • assisting Marketing Director in strategic planning and direction
  • serving as day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts, maintaining direct, timely and appropriate communications with clients
  • disseminating project and client-related business information internally
  • developing an in-depth expertise of clients’ business, competition, market challenges, marketing plan, brand strategy and research
  • building rapport and credibility with clients based upon trust and account service delivery
  • remaining alert to new opportunities to grow the business
  • monitoring competitive activity and collection of competitive samples
  • organizing, developing and assisting the Marketing Director in client presentations
  • presenting plans, ideas and concepts to client in a logical and persuasive manner, in the context of the overall business goals
  • communicating effectively and professionally in a verbal and written manner
  • proactive account P&L estimates, updates and delivery
  • accurate and timely preparation of production, media and other budgets and estimates for approval
  • maintaining positive morale and sense of teamwork among agency staff assigned to your accounts
  • reviewing all agency work prior to submitting to the client for approval
  • demonstrating account leadership, initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibility
  • coordination of client billing with the accounting department, writing specs, checking for accuracy and reviewing against estimate
