One year after Greensboro-based marketing agency The Sales Factory acquired Winston-Salem’s Woodbine Agency, the merged company has announced an official rebranding including a new name, logo, positioning and website. Sales Factory + Woodbine has become SFW. Where Brands Win.

“We chose SFW to simplify our name and added the tag line, ‘Where Brands Win’ to focus on what matters most to our clients and employees,” says Ged King, CEO. “We challenge our clients to define concrete parameters for quantifying a win and we then apply a research-based strategy that bridges science and art to meet and exceed their goals.”

SFW’s updated website and URL—www.sfwresults.com—was chosen to convey the agency’s dedication to reaching their clients’ goals. All company emails also are now utilizing the sfwresults.com domain name.

The “Where Brands Win” tagline is backed by the agency’s results-based compensation model termed “Partner Pricing™.” Partner Pricing™ puts a percentage of SFW’s revenue at risk, only to be realized when the client’s goals are met. “Partner pricing gives us a stake in the game and underscores the fact that our work produces wins for our clients—and us—time and time again,” says Peter Mitchell, SFW president.

SFW has experienced rapid growth the past five years and has, in the past year, redesigned its internal processes, streamlined organizational structure and added 10 new full-time positions. The agency has received recognition on the INC 5000 list for the past three years as well as via the Triad Business Journal’s Fast 50 awards. Today SFW is growing not just in revenue and employees, but also in square footage. The SFW headquarters is increasing its floor plan by leasing an additional 5,000 square feet of office space, approximately.

“Our staff is overjoyed with the increased space,” said King. “There were literally times when we were working with two staffers at one desk.”

King notes that though the agency’s new name and positioning—and the increase in office size—is exciting, there are even greater announcements to come in 2015. “It’s an exciting time for SFW. Not only are we exceeding business milestones we set for ourselves last year, we’re also reveling in the success our clients are experiencing. Most agencies celebrate things like winning new business. Our biggest thrill of victory is when our clients succeed. That desire for our clients to win is deeply, deeply engrained in our culture, which is why we chose to reflect it in our name.”
