Less than two months after its acquisition of Winston-Salem’s Russell Agency, SFW Marketing announced a reorganization today and several promotions to recognize emerging leaders. The new structure creates two distinct, but integrated, core skills areas to harness SFW resources and capabilities: Account Management & Strategy and Content & Activation.
David Geren has been named Executive Vice President heading up Account Management. Geren joined the agency in 2015 and has served as Director, Strategy & Research and Vice President, Account Management, after 10 years with Lowe’s Home Improvement as VP Marketing.
Brad Higdon has been hired as Executive Vice President overseeing all SFW Content and Activation, including the agency’s creative and digital marketing capabilities. Higdon had been President of MullenLowe Winston-Salem after spending 13 years with The Martin Agency, Richmond VA, as Sr. VP, Group Account Director.
“This new structure creates two centers of gravity across 51 employees and three offices to put us in the best possible position to help our clients win,” said SFW Marketing CEO Ged King. “David and Brad are both natural leaders and great communicators, which will be key to the success of this new structure.”
