Novices embraced the simplicity mantra, connecting with a new website and bold in-store packaging. Experienced gardeners took to their blogs in droves, calling the campaign specious for representing bulb-planting so flippantly. Disruption beyond the target market meant even more interest in an already-successful campaign.
