Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, managing and executing social media strategy across a variety of clients. The manager is expected to impact the client’s business through social media, collaborate with the creative team to ensure consistent brand voice and tone, and proactively leverage new channels and media types. This position reports to the Director Digital but is expected to work collaboratively across the digital, account and creative teams.


  • Develop and implement social strategy for multiple clients
  • Create and publish content across multiple social channels using appropriate tagging and captions
  • Act as the community manager for client accounts, monitoring activity and engaging with users while adhering to client expectations and industry best practices
  • Proactively build communities of fans and influencers for top-level accounts
  • Develop and manage diverse monthly budgets
  • Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns
  • Report on social media engagement, advertising campaign performance, and ROI
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop unique and engaging content, leveraging diverse channels and media types

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of experience in a social media management role
  • Knowledge of social media channels, strategy and content creation
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with social media publishing and reporting tools
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • BS/BA in creative writing, marketing, journalism, mass communications or related field
